With only a short time left before the June 4th Primary Mayoral and Council elections in East Orange, Fred Goode and I have decided that it is time to express our opinions as editors and writers of East Orange News. Our rules will be simple: our opinions must be backed up by words and actions from the candidates themselves, and where possible, linked to an on-line Web source. Note that we will probably begin by eliminating those candidates that we have decided do NOT deserve our votes, because that is easier than deciding between a fewer group of candidates that we feel DO deserve our votes, but eventually we will express opinions on each of the candidates for each elected office in the city of East Orange. We may or may not extend the same process to those running for county and state offices.

If you don't care to know our opinions, then do NOT click on the opinion buttons that will soon begin to appear next to the names of candidates running for election on June 4th. Our opinions may or may not agree with one another. Each of us thinks for himself and forms his own opinion based on the facts available to him. If you do decide to look at our opinions, please do not let our opinions influence you to do anything more than check out our reasons and sources. Then please form your own opinions based on your own research. Do your own homework. Cast your votes wisely.
