Candidates' Debate at New Hope Baptist Church 5/16/13

For health reasons, I was not able to attend this debate.
Instead, I am relying on photos and video recordings from
Frederick Goode who was in attendance. My first impression was
that the moderator did not control the audience from applauding,
interupting with cat-calls, letting phones ring, and talking out
loud. I know, I said that about the last three debates, but this
was by far, the most out of control of all of them. For that
reason, I hope this is the last debate since it seems that a fair
and impartial debate is impossible in East Orange. I will try to
give a fair and impartial report on any new information gained
from this debate, but after that, I will be writing up my
opinions on each of the candidates for those who wish to know
what I think. The opinions will be in a separate section and if
you don't care what I think, just stay out of that area.
The sound quality of the videos made it too difficult to
provide a transcription. Meanwhile, the Essex Times Daily provided THIS summary of the
debate. I have already begun posting my opinions based on
what I have learned from the candidates to date.
