Phil Murphy and Sheila Oliver Join
the Vandals and Scoff-laws of EO

Election Day 11/07/17
by Jim Gerrish

Code of the City of East Orange, NJ
Chapter 238: Streets and Sidewalks
Article 1: General Use

§ 238-4
Placement of signs, posters or other fixtures.

No sign, poster, device or other fixture shall
be placed upon any telephone pole, traffic
controller cabinet or affixed to any signal box
or any fixture or appurtenance thereto or to
any lamppost. No such sign, poster, device or
other fixture shall be affixed to any tree located
on any street or public place. No signs or posters
shall be permitted to be placed in the municipal
right-of-way. The beneficiary of such advertising
shall be held fully responsible for the placement
of the sign or poster and shall be treated as if they
placed same.

On June 3rd, 3 days before the Primary Election, I found the city of East Orange plastered with disrespect and vandalism by the LINE-A Democrats, this time colored Green, as if we didn't need a reminder who is responsible for LINE-A this year. Ted Green, running for Mayor, has been a councilman since 2006, and he should know well the city codes and ordinances that he helped write and put in place. Yet, once again, he and all the Line-A Democrats have trashed our city with their signs in spite of having it reported again and again each year since I started noticing what was going on. 2014 - 2015 - 2016 - 2017

Now on election day, 11/07/17, the signs have changed to add Phil Murphy and Sheila Oliver to the list of vandasls and scoff-laws who feel free to break our East Orange ordinances and add to the trash and litter in our city. Sheila Oliver has been known to violate our ordinances before, in 2015.

At the Old Sanford Street Polling Place, St. Paul's A.M.E. Church, Mayme Robinson adds her posters to the ordinace violations. This should come as no surprise since she did the same thing while electioneering in the election of 2015. This year I saw no evidence of electioneering taking place, which was an improvement over previous elections in East Orange, not that anyone ever responded to my reports and photographic evidence. It seems that no one in the city of East Orange, nor in the State of New Jersey, cares about such violations of laws and ordinances, as long as the violators are Democrats running for elective offices.

City Codes - Article II, General Penalty:

Except as hereinafter provided, whenever in this Code or in any other ordinance of the City, or in any rule, regulation or order promulgated pursuant to such Code or other ordinance of the City, any act is prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an offense, or whenever in such Code or in such other City ordinance, rule, regulation or order the doing of any act is required or the failure to do any act is declared to be unlawful, where no specific penalty is provided therefor, the violation of any such provision of this Code or of any other ordinance of the City or of any rule, regulation or order promulgated pursuant to such Code or other City ordinance shall be punished by a fine not less than $100 and not exceeding $2,000 or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding 90 days or by a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, or any combination thereof.

Each day any violation of this Code or any other ordinance or rule, regulation or order promulgated pursuant thereto shall continue shall constitute a separate offense unless otherwise provided.

Just so you know how things work in East Orange, if you live elsewhere, that little sticker at the top of the lamppost photo belongs to Dwight Saunders, who ran for mayor in 2001. Today, Dwight Saunders is the corrupt code enforcer for the city of East Orange under corrupt mayor Lester Taylor, and who will probably be working for corrupt mayor Ted Green into the foreseeable future.

Half-Fast-Souls' Attempts at Election Litter
Clean-Ups are Really Cover-Ups.

The Half-Fast-Souls of Line A Democrats failed in their feeble attempts to cover up their Code § 238-4 misdemeanors from taping campaign posters to a wide variety of lamp posts, telephone poles, traffic controller cabinets, signal boxes and other fixtures or appurtenances. They half-heartedly tore down some of the pieces of posters in their half-fast ways, but left behind the sticky tape and little reminders of whom we have to blame for the posters, i.e. democrats, or in some cases just rats. Here is what remains on this Birthday of the United States Marines (11/10) and the day before Veteran's Day (11/11).

A reminder:

Each day any violation of this Code or any other ordinance or rule, regulation or order promulgated pursuant thereto shall continue shall constitute a separate offense unless otherwise provided.

We are learning something about the half-fast officials just elected to office; they will likely be just as half-fast in office as they were before being elected. I will be looking for more evidence of their half-fast souls as the term of office progresses because the first thing a half-fast politician starts working on is his or her re-election to another term.

I will be holding all my dated photographs for use as evidence, if the city can't collect the appropriate fines from those responsible and the case has to go to court. If we want East Orange restored to its former beauty and respectability, we can't let a few council members and wannabee politicians drag OUR city down.

11/11/17 Veterans Day

It is a shame that our Veterans have to once again see the way local politics collides with their special day, but all they have to do is look out the windows of City Hall on the left of the photo to see that the New Jersey governor elect, Phil Murphy, and lieutenant governor elect, Sheila Oliver, plus all the East Orange Line A democrats from mayor elect Ted Green to the newly elected council members are disrespecting them and every other tax paying citizen of East Orange with the attitude that they are above the laws and ordinances that they are supposed to be enforcing. It may only be considered a misdemeanor, but it is a symbol of the true sentiments of the elected "elite" over the ones who served their country, and over those taxpayers who pay the bills and who deserve better than this.

This year, the American Flag is correctly being flown at half-mast, and the POW-MIA (Prisoners of War - Missing In Action) flag that was created in 1972 for the veterans of Vietnam is now being flown in East Orange as well as other municipalities on this day.

At 11:00 AM, seeing that no chairs have been set up in front of the East Orange Veteran's Memorial and that everyone arriving is going indoors, I pay my own personal respects to the flag and the memorial and head back home. I hope others will provide additional photographs of the day.

As usual, John Henry was present and took photographs that you can see on his Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10214353112439769&set=a.10214353374486320&type=3&theater

The entire event took place indoors where the powers that control these things can now control it more completely and keep out riff-raff like me. It is sad that the Veterans allow them to take control of their day and their event, but they are old enough and experienced enough to know where this is leading, as does anyone who has read Animal Farm by George Orwell.
